Mental Toughness Workshop

  • Passador BJJ 4536 Portage Road Niagara Falls, ON, L2E 6A8 Canada (map)

Erin Herle is a jiu jitsu black belt under Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles. She spent a decade competing and teaching jiu jitsu internationally at the elite level. Some of her titles include: brown belt IBJJF European champion & IBJJF World Nogi champion, black belt European vice-champion and Asian open champion.

Erin is currently a mental performance consultant with a master’s degree in sport and performance psychology. Her non-profit #SubmitTheStigma provides resources for normalizing mental health within the jiu jitsu community. Her goal is to help athletes achieve their potential while staying authentic to themselves.

The session will help you:

• understand the difference between mental toughness and physical toughness.

• discover the toughest elements of your own jiu jitsu game.

• learn how to manage your emotional and mental energy towards your goals on the mat.

• develop tools for maintaining composure in the face of adversity.

The workshop will include learning (so bring a notebook or phone to take notes), discussion (so prepare to share) and live nogi training (so bring some gear and water).

I’m excited to introduce this hybrid learning environment for jiu jitsu athletes. It has never been done before!

FREE ADMISSION ALL AFFILIATIONS WELCOME!
