I know your audience because I am your audience.

I have the benefit of writing from a reader's perspective because I am a student of jiu jitsu, and I am also a teacher. I know what it's like to train, compete, and live as a white belt and a black belt (and every belt in between). I have experience as a competitor, and also as a media member on the outside of that same competition mat. My knowledge extends from being a student of three different world-champion level professors, as well as from being a nomad teaching, training, and competing on various continents of the world. My networking skills, time on the mats, bachelor's degree, and passion for jiu jitsu make me the best jiu jitsu writer in the world.
